Grand Bahama Island Restaurant Fest returns, #reimagined!
The highly anticipated Grand Bahama Island Restaurant Festival (GBIRF) is set to return for its fourth year, showcasing the island’s vibrant culinary scene from August 2–16, 2025. Organized by the Grand Bahama Island Promotion Board (GBIPB), the festival will celebrate the culinary diversity, talent, and unique flavors found on Grand Bahama Island.
The 2025 theme is Authenticity Reimagined: The authentic cuisine of Grand Bahama reimagined through a modern lens. From August 2–16, participating restaurants across the island will offer prix fixe, multi-course menus that allow diners to savor the best of Bahamian cuisine. From fine dining establishments to casual beachfront eateries, the festival aims to highlight the island’s culinary variety.
The festival kicks off with the 2nd Annual “A Taste of Grand Bahama” at the Port Lucaya Marketplace on August 2, from 3-7 p.m. This family-friendly launch event will feature live entertainment, activities, and a showcase of the marketplace’s diverse food and beverage vendors, like Fairplay, Tropical Gyros, Bootleg Chocolates and much more.
This launch event sets the stage for two weeks of culinary exploration across Grand Bahama Island.
From August 2nd to August 16, you can experience 14 restaurants around the island, all offering unique and creative prix fixe menus, inclusive of an appetizer, entree, and dessert for one set price.
