FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA - The Grand Bahama Island Tourism Board celebrated the rollout of the
Grand Life Magazine's 50th Anniversary Independence Issue with the men and women who were featured in the most recent edition of the publication, on June 5 at the Grand Lucayan Bahamas Resort. The Grand Life Magazine, which is the official magazine of Grand Bahama, tells the rich and diverse story of the island and will be available at Bahamian Tourism and Consulate offices around the world, as well as in a digital format.

The Independence edition of the magazine featured articles that highlighted Grand Bahama restaurants, attractions, Bahamian culture and gave an overview of the many things to do, see, and experience on the island. The cover also featured Miss Grand Bahama

The inaugural Island Relays track and field event is coming to Grand Bahama Island in March

     

FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA - The Island Relays will welcome over 600 collegiate athletes and coaches from throughout the United States for an unforgettable track and field invitational. Also, a number of Bahamian athletes from the University of the Bahamas will be in attendance. The sporting event, which is scheduled to take place from March 16-19 on Grand Bahama Island, will feature not only some of the top athletes in North America but also a stunning island paradise as its backdrop. Sunwing Vacations, Bahamasair, and American Airlines Increase Inbound Flight Options

FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA - Experiencing Grand Bahama just got easier with the expansion of
flight routes from several US and Canadian airports. Sunwing Vacations will resume flights
between Montreal and Toronto to Freeport, on December 17, for the duration of the 2022-2023
winter season. Bahamasair also reintroduced inbound flights from Orlando, FL and will begin new
service from Raleigh, NC, in addition to the airline's Fort Lauderdale, FL, flight offerings. American
Airlines' existing Grand Bahama flight schedule also expanded to include Charlotte, NC, in addition
to their Miami, FL route.  See More
